A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success, Sanjeev Kumar Chandan from Bihar cracked IIT JEE, founded Child Tynker, generated ₹4.20 lakh revenue across 3 countries, and is now on a mission to revolutionize STEM education for 1 lakh+ students worldwide.
Meet the Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success
Imagine a boy from a small village, with no large school or special assistance, becoming a motivation for thousands of students to learn better. This is Sanjeev Kumar Chandan’s story a boy who studied hard, remained curious, and never lost hope. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success: Sanjeev’s story is one that every young dreamer from a small town needs to hear.
Sanjeev was born in 1998 in a poor village of Motihari, Bihar. His family did not possess a lot of money, but they had ambitious dreams. Sanjeev was fascinated by learning from an early age. He used to open broken radios or observe machines at farms, trying to figure out what made them work. He used to ask a lot of questions and was always eager to learn more. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success was already taking shape in those early years, in the curiosity of a child who found wonder in broken radios and farm machines.
Although life was not simple, his parents never discouraged him. They thought that he could do something wonderful. Through their encouragement and his determination, Sanjeev embarked on a journey that would lead him from a simple village life to some of the best in India, and later, he would go on to assist many others in learning and growing. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success always had the most important thing: parents who believed in him even when the world did not.
School Life and a Glimmer of Purpose (2010–2013)
Sanjeev did his schooling in his village, where quality education was not easily accessible. But he made every challenge an opportunity. He studied actively, working hard, many a time studying till late at night under the lights. His intelligence and passion for knowledge started to stand him out. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success studied under dim lights in a village school and refused to let the lack of resources become the limit of his potential.
This was the period when he came to know about IIT JEE, one of the toughest engineering entrance exams in India. The prospect of joining an IIT sparked within him. But he lacked appropriate guidance and mentorship. That’s when his life was transformed by Super-30, an initiative by Anand Kumar for poor students.
Cracking IIT JEE in First Attempt (2013–2014)
Sanjeev prepared for the IIT JEE Advanced examination with the assistance of Super-30. The atmosphere was intense but very inspiring. Not only did he develop problem-solving abilities, but he also learned how to stay calm under pressure.
In 2014, his efforts succeeded. He cleared IIT JEE Advanced in his first attempt itself. Although he did not receive an IIT seat, he got into Civil Engineering at NIT Jalandhar, a top college in India. For a village lad from humble origins, this was significant progress. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success cracked one of India’s toughest exams on his very first attempt, proof that preparation and purpose are more powerful than privilege.
College Life and the Discovery of a New World (2014–2018)
Sanjeev’s life at NIT Jalandhar exposed him to a new world altogether. From technology workshops to clubs and societies, he was exposed to things he never thought of. While some were fascinated with dance, drama, and sports, Sanjeev discovered his passion in drones and robotics.
He participated in the drone club, learned through workshops, and began to build his own projects. They were a Smart Photography Drone and a Racing Drone among them. His college years weren’t just about studying; they were about innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success found his true calling not in textbooks but in drone clubs and robotics workshops where learning came alive.
He later became a team leader and led several successful projects. This is when he discovered that education isn’t all about textbooks; it’s about solving actual problems and learning through doing.
First Leap and First Job (2018–2019)
Sanjeev was placed in a Gurugram company after graduation. He didn’t quit his passion for working full-time. He began solving assignments from students in the Middle East, guiding more than 100 students with projects and study assistance. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success never stopped giving back even while working a full-time job; he was already helping 100+ students find their own path forward.
This side business boosted his confidence and helped him leave his job to pursue his passion on a full-time basis.
Releasing Acadcity (2019)
Sanjeev released Acadcity in 2019, where students could list their project questions and receive one-on-one guidance prior to deadlines. The concept was simple but strong. It filled the gap between theoretical education and practical use. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success launched Acadcity because he understood the gap between what students learned and what they actually needed, and he refused to let that gap remain.
The business operated smoothly for 1.5 years. But soon Sanjeev saw a universal challenge faced by students lack of quiet study areas, particularly by those who were studying for competitive exams.
Creating Peace Library (2021)
This experience gave rise to Sanjeev to start Peace Library in 2021. Sanjeev built libraries with the help of local institutes and companies. With appropriate market analysis and planning, Peace Library became a destination for dedicated learners. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success built Peace Library because he remembered what it felt like to study without a quiet, safe space and he made sure others would never have to face that struggle alone.
Peace Library operates actively now and is even featured on Google Maps.
Experience with Top EdTech Companies
Sanjeev has worked with the top EdTech companies over the years, including Byju’s, Playto Labs, and Infinity Learn. All these experiences made him realize the potential of technology to transform learning particularly among children. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success absorbed every lesson from every company he worked with, knowing that one day all of it would come together in something truly his own.
Birth of Child Tynker: A Dream to Revolutionize Education (2023–2024)
Sanjeev had a larger dream in 2023 to begin Child Tynker (Reuwati Ventures Private Limited) an initiative that included learning in a fun way. He wanted to introduce school children to robotics, drones, IoT, and AI/ML in a manner they could enjoy.
On April 5, 2024, the first demo class was conducted by him. He had his parents attend it and they were fully impressed, opting for a package of 50 classes on the very next day even before taking the website to launch stage. That single enrolment was validation of the idea. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success watched his parents enroll for 50 classes before the website even launched and knew in that moment that Child Tynker was exactly what the world needed.
The Expansion of Child Tynker (2024–2025)
Child Tynker has achieved exceptional growth ever since:
- 160+ demo classes organized
- ₹4.20 lakh of revenue with zero spend in marketing
- Presence in 3+ countries including the USA, UAE, and South Africa
- Over 1,000 STEM-based projects available for various age groups
All this Sanjeev and his team accomplished by cold calling and word-of-mouth alone. The mission was clear future-proof children’s skills through experiential learning. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success built Child Tynker to ₹4.20 lakh in revenue across 3 countries without spending a single rupee on marketing because when the product truly matters, the world spreads the word for you.
Awards and Milestones
Child Tynker has recently been honored by the Government of India and Startup Bihar for its innovation and reach. Such awards further Sanjeev’s intuition that education should keep step with the times. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success earning recognition from the Government of India is not just a personal milestone it is a validation that education rooted in real experience can change the future of an entire generation.
His Thoughts and Philosophy
Sanjeev is quite sure that curiosity beats grades. In his view, the education system should transform from mere memorization to learning through discovery. His hope is that each child will grow into a problem solver, thinker, and creator.
He states, “If a kid can build a drone, write an AI app, or hack real-world puzzles at an early age, they don’t merely learn they gain confidence.” A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success believes that confidence built through creation is the most powerful education any child can ever receive.
Road Ahead
Sanjeev intends to:
- Scale up Child Tynker to 10+ nations
- Launch the first AI-powered STEM platform of India for school children
- Open innovation centers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities
- Educate 1 lakh+ students in 3 years
- Partner with schools for long-term incorporation of experiential tech education

Opinion
Sanjeev Kumar Chandan’s journey from a remote village in Bihar to becoming a tech education pioneer is not only inspiring — it’s a reminder that dreams do come true when combined with action. With Child Tynker, he’s not only educating children — he’s constructing the future, project by project. A Boy Who Turned Struggles into Success, Sanjeev Kumar Chandan has shown the world that the most powerful classrooms are not always the most expensive ones — sometimes they are built by the boy who once studied under dim lights in a village and refused to let that be the end of his story.
